EDITORIAL
Welcome back! We
hope you enjoyed a prosperous summer, with some time to enjoy
the weather, our Island, or hopefully a much-deserved vacation.
Your SCECA Board met during the summer months to plan the
2006-07 agenda for our members. We hope you plan to attend the
September General Meeting. We have plenty of information to
share with you.
As always, we wish to encourage members to bring a friend who
might consider joining SCECA. Please give them a copy of The
Light, or provide one to someone who might be interested in
advertising in our publication.
I believe that more members and supporters can and will make
SCECA an even better, more viable organization. Please see the
president’s message on page 5; you’ll read about some of our
recent accomplishments. To find out about our plans for the
year, or if you have a question or suggestion, please attend the
September General Meeting. We want you to be an active member.
You’ll also hear about Seminar Chair Tom Palk's plans for the
next Code Seminar.
If you wish to attend the 10-hour OSHA certification class,
you’d better not wait until the meeting. (Registration is being
confirmed on a “first-paid, first registered” basis.) Please
send your $75.00 check to SCECA as soon as possible.
