MEETING NOTICE

As you read on the front cover, the first three (3) meetings of the year, (Sept., Oct., and Nov.), will feature “mini-seminar” classes, conducted by Mr. Ed Rodriguez of Electrical Inspection Service Inc., of E. Patchogue.  This will assist our members to update their Code knowledge and obtain 4 CEU’s, if needed, for Tri Town.  (NOTE: A separate $5.00 check will be required for certification.)  In essence, if you attended the Redbook classes and come out to our pre-meeting Seminars, you can fulfill the CEU requirement!

This month's program will feature John Werner of Leviton, on “Lighting Controls.”  Glen Karpinos will display new Ideal products, and welcome your questions.

Special thanks to Paul Schnackenberg, Chairman and founder of Gentran.  His presentation on the product’s history and changes made for an interesting program.

$100.00 would have gone to Keith Cuttone, member # 470, but he was not at the meeting.  (Winner must be present and dues current, to receive the award.)

* 4 - $45.00 cash prizes were won by Tom Walsh, Frank Privitello, Bob Walsh and Robert Miller.

* 1 - 200 Amp Murray panel, donated by Don Pianto of Murray, was won by Remo Lucent.

* 1 - case of Smart Boxes, donated by Greg Herth, was won by Sal Campisi.

Nassau Elec. League will host a vendors’ night EXPO 10/29/03, 4 – 9 PM, at Holiday Inn, Sunnyside Blvd., Plainview, just north of LIE.  Look, learn, win door prizes!
