EDITORIAL
Well, another Vendors' Night Trade Show is in the books. As
promised, this one was indeed bigger and better than last year.
We have many people to thank and credit. New and veteran
committee members teamed up to do the job. Code and LIPA Redbook
classes were well-received. Although it was difficult, I was
able to enjoy the show from behind the camera. (You'll see what
I saw, with a multi-page insert in this issue of The Light.) One
thought: Although the words have been overused, they're still
true! "We couldn't have done it without you." Thanks to one and
all for your participation!

At this time,
our focus changes rather abruptly to other venues: Please plan
on voting; SCECA elections will be held at this meeting,
followed by our Annual Installation Dinner. We'll also be
recognizing the Suffolk VICA contest winners, who will receive
the Gubing Memorial Education Award.
Before you
know it, our last (June) General meeting of the season will be
announced.
By the way, some exciting promotions for the Dinner Dance are
planned, including the raffling of some tickets at this General
Meeting, and the raffling of home plate L.I. Ducks tickets,
at
the Dinner!
At your
earliest convenience, please let us know about any of your
questions, suggestions, or concerns.
Presently, we
are considering a professional update of our SCECA website.
We pride
ourselves as an Association that truly represents its members.
If you're considering getting involved with a committee, please
take the step.
See you at
the next meeting.
