SCECA's Annual Picnic - You're Invited! - click for details

EDITORIAL

"Time is the most valuable thing a man can spend." (Theophratus) Try to explain this quote to a customer demanding a free estimate, yesterday. Try to explain it to your child, spouse or significant other, when you have to work. We all tend to rationalize, often placing work as our #1 priority. Respectfully, I highly recommend that this summer, you consider giving some time to yourself and your family.

SCECA is celebrating the end of summer in September, with our Annual Family Picnic. It's scheduled for Sunday, September 14, at Hoyt Farm in Commack. We hope you'll reserve the date on your calendar, and join your SCECA friends and their families, for good food and good conversation, good times. Take the time; remember, "Time is relative... The mind makes it slow, the heart 399-4114 makes it fast, our friends make it worthwhile, and words... make it timeless."

Congratulations to our newly-elected Board members and Officers. If the computer gods are good to us, Installation Dinner photos will be inserted in this issue. Happy Summer!
