Electrical Inspection Service will present a program on Low
Voltage Wiring, Classes 1, 2, & 3; NEC Articles 700 & 800. B.F.
Johnstone will present a display featuring Heating, Ventilating
and Electrical supplies.
There will be a drawing for a free session with Michael Ceschini
for "Business Planning."

Michael Towers announced that nominations, would be opened at
this meeting.

IT HAPPENED
AT THE LAST MEETING: |

Last month's
program featured a presentation by Marty Kennedy from LIPA/Keyspan,
on "Fault Current Rating." (This means the maximum amount of
fault current that can flow through the "end-user's" equipment,
limited by the LIPA system.) Some of our members expressed great
concern that equipment, (meter pans, switch gear, etc.), may not
be able to handle fault output from the power authority’s
transformer(s). The best advice is to ask for these ratings
prior to designing, estimating and building your job.
