program will feature a presentation by Fire Investigator Robert
Wisniewski, through the courtesy of Attorney Robert Ibraham.
We'll also have some "words of wisdom" from our inspection
agencies and LIPA.

Special thanks
to Insurance Agency, Borg & Borg. David Borg and Patty Muldoon's
presented topics included current conditions in the industry,
policy conditions imposed by homeowners, business owners, GC's,
and additional insured, hold harmless clauses. Further questions
on these and other insurance topics can be addressed to David or
Patty; just call (631) 673-7600. You may also request the
meeting handout, which included answers to frequently asked
questions,
appropriate to electrical contractors.
Past Pres.
Michael Towers presented a mini program on derating ampacity,
wire temperatures, fixture requirements, and NEC Article 310-16.
Mike opened a few mouths & dropped a few jaws, but perhaps his
words would help keep people such as Mr. Wisniewski at their
desks, or away from our jobs!
Ideal had a mini demo of products, and generously supported our
raffle with prizes.

have gone to Steve Hakam, (# 178), but he was not at the
meeting. (Winner must be present and dues current, to receive
the award.)

prizes were won by Ray Normoyle, Warren Scott, Mahesh Panchal
and Paul Nutzel.
*2 $100.00 inspections, donated by Electrical Inspection Service
of E. Patchogue, were won by Rob Miller and John McGinn.
* A voltage tester, donated by Ideal, was won by Ed Kremmelbein.
Fritz Tate won their pen-style voltage tester; the keyhole saw
was won by John McGinn.
