months to go until our Vendors’ Night Trade Show, scheduled for
THURSDAY, APRIL 15. The event will take place at Sports Plus, (a
flyer is enclosed); please post it as a reminder. Since this
event helps to raise funds to offset other SCECA endeavors,
including this newsletter, your participation is essential to
its success.
We are very
pleased to announce that LIPA will feature a Pad-mount
transformer at Vendors’ Night. Experts in various areas will
field your questions regarding proper wiring and identification
methods. Other “power authority” questions will also be
addressed. (See page 5.)

As you thumb
through the pages of this issue of The Light, please take notice
of the many upcoming events: SCECA elections and slate have been
announced by Chair, Michael Towers. We are sponsoring a Seminar
on Lighting Design in May; the SCECA Installation Dinner is June
5. While most of you are still awaiting Spring’s warmth, the
Picnic Committee is already thinking about September. (We hope
to beat the price rise in hot dogs, which usually follows copper
prices, ha, ha.)
