The Annual
SCECA picnic was held on Sunday, September 19, at Belmont
Lake State Park, at the Maple Pavilion, (not an easy place to
find). The menu included franks, burgers, chicken, salads, corn
on the cob, bbq ribs, soda, & watermelon. Games: Softball: The
Leo family put on a show; Charlie still has it, as have Jen,
Anthony & Damien. Sorry guys, I don’t recall all the names. They
allowed me to put down the camera, and pick up a bat: I almost
beaned the pitcher, (great hands), twice! Many thanks to all
those who pitched in to make the event a success in the absence
of Chair John McGinn. We wish his wife Stacey a speedy recovery.
Kudos to Steve Jarymiszyn of LIPA, who saved the breezy day,
with decaf & regular coffee!.
