EDITORIAL
In the present
state of our economy and therefore our business, we may have a
tendency to “tuck in our wings,” and hunker down. I believe this
attitude and behavior is self-defeating. If anything, we need to
expand our horizons; networking and meeting attendance may be
the difference. With that concept in mind, please consider the
following:
SCECA is
sponsoring a Seminar on Multiple Code Topics, with multiple
instructors. The date is Saturday, 11/7/09. The fee is
discounted for current SCECA members and their employees.
Details are provided in the centerfold of this issue of “The
Light.”
LIPA’s annual
Trade Ally Expo is scheduled for Tuesday, 10/27/09; details can
be found on the last page of this newsletter. Finally, please
consider attending the Nassau Elec. League’s Trade Show on Wed.,
10/28/09. (Their full page flier is enclosed.) Try to get out to
one or more of these venues.
In addition,
Electric Lighting Agencies is presenting Illuminations, a
showcase of their new line card, complete with seminars. This
event will be held 10/20 & 21 at the Huntington Hilton, noon to
8 pm. You can register at
haseena@electricallighting.com . We are pleased to announce
these events and hope you are able to attend.
