EDITORIAL
Traditionally
part of our November editorial pays tribute to our fellow
Americans who have served this great country. Let us remember
and express our heartfelt thanks to those men and women; they
have given a portion of their lives to insure our very way of
life.
I also wish to
remember our friend, colleague and past-president of SCECA, Bill
Gubing. As I’ve written many times now, I believe he would be
proud with the direction our Association has gone, and
especially with the success of our Vendors Night Trade Show
which he pioneered. We miss you Bill.

An interesting
note: Some graduates from the Electrical Training Center have
been attending our meetings; one has even joined as an Associate
member. This can be the beginning of a great system of matching
contractor needs with experience and training. (Remember that
Sal Ferrara of the E.T.C. is a SCECA Associate himself, willing
and able to help meet our needs.)

As if we didn’t
have enough rules and regulations to worry about, the EPA may be
your new best friend, (not). Be sure to peruse the article on
lead paint in this issue.

SCECA Officers
and Board wish you and your family a Happy Thanksgiving.
