The Trade Show
“crunch time” referenced in last month’s newsletter is over.
Kudos to Steve Nerwinski and his Trade Show committee for a
successful event. We now change gears with upcoming SCECA
elections at the May meeting, followed with a June installation
of officers and board members at the General Meeting.
Please start thinking about upcoming events: Your support of our
raffle will help defray costs of running our various programs
and events. You and your family are invited to join us for an
outing to Splish Splash, as well as our Annual Picnic. Please
post the enclosed inserts as reminders, and confirm your
intentions with the SCECA office, (361-7474), as soon as
possible.
As you know, some newsletter content is required: Meeting
notices, Elections, Special events and information from entities
having influence on our trade must be included. Often, your
editor tries to include articles related to safety and/or job
issues. Stories from officers, board members and of course,
general membership, are always welcomed. You can phone or FAX it
in, or use e-mail. Should you spot an article in a professional
journal or periodical that you think our readers would find
interesting, send it in. We will not copy an article, due to
copyright laws, but we will attempt to paraphrase and properly
credit the source.
The Vendors Night Trade Show
photos are inserted, along with a
list of major prize winners, compiled by Board Member Remo
Lucent Jr.
Please be sure to attend the May meeting to vote for your SCECA
Officers and Board.
