There will be a presentation, (reading), of the proposed
changes to SCECA’s Constitution & By-laws, followed by a
vote. Our Officers and Board will be sworn in at this
meeting.

IT HAPPENED AT THE LAST MEETING: |
|
Congratulations to the Skills USA
Suffolk winners, who received their awards: William McKeon, 1st Place overall,
Dylan Bryan 3rd place overall, Daniel Smith, 5th
place overall. Their photos are posted on the SCECA
website.
SCECA elections for Officers and Board members were held.
Congratulations and best wishes to Officers and Board
members. All incumbents were reelected; the only contested
position that of First V.P. was won by John McGinn.
We are very sorry that the program “Understanding how to
subsidize the cost of Lighting Projects using Local and
Federal rebates,” by: Glenn Karpinos; Certified Lighting
Rep. for ELA, Inc. had to be postponed. It will be
rescheduled. |

ATTENDANCE AWARD: |

$100 attendance award was
drawn for John Sullivan, Jr. (#377-C), who was not present
to win!
(Winner
must be present and dues current, to collect the award, if your
name is drawn.) |

DARK HORSE & PRIZES: |

Tom Holmes, Jason Goetz, Kevin MacLeod and Mike Janowitz.
2 – Yankee tickets donated
by Ray Wilson of Monarch Electric were won by Mike Towers.

ATTENTION INSPECTORS:

The Electrical Training Center
will be conducting a seminar, Inspecting PV Systems.
The course will be held at their facility, 35 Elm Street,
Copiague, (631-226-8021), from 8 am – 12 noon, on June 30.
The cost is $25.00 for the 4-hr. seminar. |
