EDITORIAL
Once again our Board and Officers
wish our members and supporters a Happy, Healthy and Prosperous
New Year! Our resolution is to continue with programs, seminars
and activities that will meet the needs of our members. We hope
you will join us at one or more of these venues; together we
will continue to develop a viable organization.
We’re pleased to inform our members that SCECA is helping to
support & promote LIPA’s Redbook seminars. Details can be found
in an article on page 9 of The Light.

Speaking from my roles of Editor
and SCECA Pres., I wish to commend our Officers and Board: They
have worked hard to promote our Association to the general
public, offer members heightened safety awareness and raise
funds to support our programs. We could use some additional
member support: Please purchase a raffle ticket, bring a
potential member to a meeting, register for seminars and attend
more meetings. As always, your Association is here to help!

Speaking of help, a couple of our
Board members are checking on the possibility of the Association
performing some charity work in Suffolk County. We’ll keep you
abreast as details become available. (Isn’t that a great way to
start off 2006!)
