Our SCECA
attorney, Jessica Schubert Nogara will present a program on
“Customers, Contracts and Collections.” (February will
feature NYBFU’s Jim Smith speaking on NEC Article 250.) |
| IT HAPPENED AT THE LAST MEETING: |

Charlie Gardner, the retired Director of Consumer Affairs for
Suffolk County was presented with a plaque from SCECA.
SCECA Pres. Jack Morrell introduced
Sol Goldstein from Rebuilding Together, L.I., Inc. Mr. Goldstein,
President of Rebuilding Together, L.I. Inc. reported that his
volunteer organization does free home repair for the low income
elderly and disabled homeowners. They also build wheelchair
ramps. They just finished their 1,650th house. They
recently finished their 110th wheelchair ramp. This is
all done with volunteer labor and no cost to the client.
An abbreviated meeting was conducted to allow ample time for our
annual Holiday Party. The food and camaraderie were great! |
