February will feature NYBFU’s Jim Smith speaking on NEC Article 210.  (We mistakenly announced Article 250 last month.  That will be covered in SCECA’s upcoming seminar.)

Our SCECA attorney, Jessica Schubert Nogara presented a program on “Customers, Contracts and Collections.”  Members have already requested a “Part II!”

$100 attendance award was drawn for Sal Governale (#133C); who was not present to win!

1 - Klein 9” Pliers donated by Ray Wilson of Monarch Electric, was won by George Alevas.

A seminar on NFPA 70 E arc-flash will be offered on Wednesday March 25 @ 4:00 – 8:00 pm. Location is Mid Island Electrical Supply at 59 Mall Dr, Commack. Class maximum is 40 people; we will have a sign up sheet at SCECA’s February General Meeting.  Seating will be on a first come basis.  Cost is 65 dollars for contractor members and 75 dollars for employees. Cost includes NFPA 70 E code book and dinner.

A seminar on Grounding & Bonding, NEC Article 250 Part II will be held at the Electrical Training Center in Copiague.  The date is Saturday, March 28.  Fee is $50 for SCECA members and $75 per employee.
