popular request, SCECA’s attorney, Jessica Schubert Nogara will
return to provide a “Part II” on “Effective Collections.”

will have lighting products and hand tools on display in the
back of the room. |
| IT HAPPENED AT THE LAST MEETING: |

Gene Surdi of the Suffolk Bureau
of Electrical Inspectors presented a program on
Energy Star Labeled Home program
and how it affects our electrical industry. What stuck out
most poignantly to your editor is the need to fill your drilled
holes and be responsible for your own work. This home may spin
some work your way, especially for exhaust fans, but with it
comes added knowledge and responsibility. (This program
highlights the reason for us to maintain and update our
knowledge and that of the hired help!) |

Fran Richards, Vice Pres. of
Electrical Inspection Service Inc., has informed us that Ed
Rodriguez is no longer employed by the firm; Jerry Flaherty is
now their Chief Inspector.
SCECA is
planning a different Family Picnic this year. We will
provide a limited number of Ducks baseball tickets with a
barbeque before the game. Your fee will be $5.00 for each
ticket, in advance,
to help defray expenses. Current SCECA Members may purchase up
to five (5) total tickets at this price; additional tickets will
cost $30.00 each. Game date is August 23; picnic starts at 3:30
pm; game time is 5:00 pm. All sales are on a first-come
first-served basis. (Our total sales have been limited by the
Ducks.) |
