EDITORIAL
In composing and editing this newsletter, your editor sometimes
feels like a late-night disc jockey. I’m speaking, not through a
microphone, but print media. But alas, I wonder who’s out there
reading our words. Last month, I found out: SCECA received a
letter from Mark Anderson, Electrical Codes Task Group, Codes
Division, NYS Department of State. The topic of his
correspondence was last month’s editorial regarding NYS adoption
of the most current NEC. Please peruse his letter on page 7!
An update with information that followed Mr. Anderson’s letter
of March 12 will be provided at our April General Meeting. We’re
certain you’ll find it interesting, so come on out.

No one likes to address the issue of cancer, but March was
Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. Please get screened and
encourage friends and family members to do the same. As they
say, Preventable, Treatable, Beatable.
